Cork Hydrolite White Foam/Curafoam
The Cork Medical HydroLite White Foam Wound Dressing is a sterile, absorbent, polyurethane foam wound dressing. It absorbs wound drainage, promotes a moist environment that is helpful to healing, and serves as a barrier against water and bacteria when used as a secondary dressing. It is indicated for:
- Minor abrasions, minor lacerations, and minor scalds and burns
- Dermal ulcers (ex: pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, and other secreting lesions)
- More severe lacerations, cuts, and abrasions
- Second degree burns
- Donor sites
- Other superficial wounds
The White Foam only comes in one size (3.75" x 3.75").

** If a facility is requesting Silver Foam Dressing, we do not offer this. It is only offered by KCI for in-patient use. If they are adamant that the patient requires this, ask if they have Silver Contact Layer at their facility - this has a more consistent release of silver and provides a better kill rate of bacteria. (examples are: Silveron, Tegaderm AG, Acticoat Flex)
