GUIDELINES FOR USE IN THE EVENT OF POWER INTERRUPTION
PressureGuard® Air Surfaces
Easy Air® series (all models):
In the event of power interruption:
- No action required.
- Air is sealed in indefinitely.
- Pressure redistribution is maintained.
Protocol™
In the event of power interruption:
- No action required.
- Air is sealed in for up to 8 hours.
- Pressure redistribution is maintained.
If power interruption is expected to extend more than 8 hours, disconnect the two smaller, white paired fittings that connect the mattress airlines to the control unit air lines and connect them to each other instead. This will seal air system until power can be restored.
APM2, Safety Supreme, APM Bariatric
In the event of power interruption:
- Disconnect air lines from control unit. Press “transport” cap into place on connector until it clicks.
- Air is sealed in indefinitely.
- Pressure redistribution is maintained.
